What is Adventure? I came across a quote years ago…

An adventurous life does not necessarily mean climbing mountains, swimming with sharks, or jumping off cliffs. It means risking yourself by leaving a little piece of you behind in all those you meet along the way. (author unknown)

A genuine connection… with Mother Earth, with each other. I find adventure to be less the display of activities and more about the soulful humans holding the stories inside their vessel.

The portrait is a sliver of light where we’re gifted the lifting of a veil to truly see the expression of another. Be a witness.

This portrait was taken of me when I had uncut hair. Never trimmed or touched by scissors. It’s a long story as to where that was rooted for a very long season in my life but I love the narrative my life was writing at this time. It was messy, delightful, and adventurous.
